On tablets such as the iPad, the onscreen keyboard can block a large portion of the screen when open.
Floating Onscreen Keyboard
See the following instructions for opening the floating onscreen keyboard on an iPad
- Launch the course session on your device.
- Navigate to a slide with a text input field. Touch into the field to open the keyboard.
In many cases the keyboard will cover a large portion of the screen, see the example below. - Select and hold the keyboard key in the bottom right of the screen until the Floating key appears.
- Slide your finger to the Floating key, then release.
- A miniature version of the keyboard opens which can be dragged to the desired location by holding and dragging the bar at the bottom of the keyboard.
